Willow Baxter is a painter nothing more, living in Japan to study Sumi-e style painting, she’s never wanted anything more than to put her brush to canvas and create works of art. One evening she’s swept away by a man who is more than meets the eye. Akira, is a kitsune with a destiny behind him to find the odd-eyed woman who will carry his hoshi-no-tama and become his fox bride. As the two are thrust together, Akira has to learn that there is more to being a god than reveling in human debauchery, and Willow has to let go of her past to see a worthwhile future.
FIRST AND FOREMOST I have been in agony waiting for the release of this book! I have been a fan since it’s first debut on tumblr and have been along for the journey to becoming the novel it is today. It is an amazing story that keeps you on your toes and I cannot wait until the second installment is released. 100/100 recommend!
I normally do not leave reviews.. However this book and the author deserve more then that. This book was great I read Book 1&2 in one day I couldn’t put it down. It was well written with the characters defended in their own way. Each one with a backstory that shows they were meant to be together. Not only is the main character a black woman but a witch at best. The twists the turns the love that was shown throughout the book had me on edge from every page. The take on a paranormal polygamic relationship had my mind in awe. As I neared the end of book 2 I knew this can’t be the end of Lia as the last page had me wanting to know the next part of this series. I do not like to give away the juicy details of this book because it is one to be read by all readers with an open mind. The author will be one that I continue to follow waiting on the next book to be released. BUY IT you wont be disappointed.

Fantasy Paranormal Romance
I love to dabble in the mythological and metaphysical. Ghosts, gargoyles, demons, witches and werewolves? Yea, let’s spice that up.
There is far too little romance where black women take the lead. Even less in worlds of fantasy. My desire to make this normal, to place us in positions of power where we are seen as desirable. My favorite pairing? AMBW
Taking a break from everything spooky, I enjoy writing realistic love stories. Colorism? Discrimination? It’s a realistic outlook on everyday situations, and I love shedding some light on it through a story.
I’ve always been a writer. My Pop-Pop was always my biggest fan and encouraged my love of reading. From my first stories about talking wolves to my first published novels with witches and lost love. Crafting an enchanting and riveting tale is nothing new to me.
As a black woman, I strive to put us on the forefront of romance novels. To put us in fantastical and daring situations that carve heroines everyone loves to read about.
Other than being a writer, I fancy myself quite the poet.
When I’m not doing anything that has to do with writing; I enjoy watching my favorite YouTubers, playing video games and sleeping.
