Lia, Seokjin, and Yin find themselves in the Underground on a mission to rescue Airis, the Fae prince, from the vampire lord, Albain. Things grow tumultuous for the trio, and soon the very secret that Seokjin fought to keep is revealed, threatening the relationship he has with Lia.
Lia is jerked into the reality of the actions of her mother, and the consequences they now have to face because of those actions. Keeping one foot on the mortal plane and the other in the Underground, she struggles to come to terms with who she is in this world, the lies she’s been fed, and her feelings for the demon whose role in her life has transformed into more than just being her familiar.
He’s the man she loves.
Lia Babineaux hails from a long line of famed Babineaux witches known for their immense power and ability to wield various types of magick. Having lost both her mother and aunt at a young age, she is raised under a heavy thumb by her grandmother, Cecilia, who doesn’t want to lose Lia to the same fate that cost Lia’s mother her life.
However, like the witches that came before her, Lia has a curiosity about magick that is insatiable and which, in her opinion, her grandmother is taking too long to help her develop. That curiosity leads her to the Babineaux family grimoire, a spellbook her abilities are nowhere near advanced enough to handle. Her amateur skills result in the rise of a demon, Seokjin, who bonds to her as her familiar; essentially the other half to her whole.
Seokjin and Lia become close as the years pass, facing every threat head-on as a team and then, eventually, as lovers. Along the way, their team grows to include more witches, a gargoyle, a Fae, and even a vampire. With a legacy of power behind her, Lia unravels the path to a mystery that could help her uncover the truth behind her mother and aunt’s deaths, and despite a secret Seokjin is forced to hide from the woman he loves.

Fantasy Paranormal Romance
I love to dabble in the mythological and metaphysical. Ghosts, gargoyles, demons, witches and werewolves? Yea, let’s spice that up.
There is far too little romance where black women take the lead. Even less in worlds of fantasy. My desire to make this normal, to place us in positions of power where we are seen as desirable. My favorite pairing? AMBW
Taking a break from everything spooky, I enjoy writing realistic love stories. Colorism? Discrimination? It’s a realistic outlook on everyday situations, and I love shedding some light on it through a story.
I’ve always been a writer. My Pop-Pop was always my biggest fan and encouraged my love of reading. From my first stories about talking wolves to my first published novels with witches and lost love. Crafting an enchanting and riveting tale is nothing new to me.
As a black woman, I strive to put us on the forefront of romance novels. To put us in fantastical and daring situations that carve heroines everyone loves to read about.
Other than being a writer, I fancy myself quite the poet.
When I’m not doing anything that has to do with writing; I enjoy watching my favorite YouTubers, playing video games and sleeping.
